How to login to SpringerLink

How do I login?

As a member of the International Mine Water Association, you are entitled to access electronic content at SpringerLink for “Mine Water and the Environment”. To access this secured content, you need to have an individual account. Please visit http://www.SpringerLink.com and log into your individual account, register, or reset your password to enter your unique annual token access code for online access.

How do I login with my existing account?

If you have an existing account, please visit http://www.SpringerLink.com. Click on “Login” in the right recognition panel, and then enter your unique SpringerLink username and password. After you have logged in, you can enter your above given Token through the menu “MY SPRINGERLINK” ->”Account Details” ->”Process Token”. Members with existing accounts may see the publication listed under “Favorites” for easy access. If you do not see the publication under favorites, adding it is quick and easy. How do I register a new account?

If you are not a registered user of SpringerLink, please go to http://www.SpringerLink.com. Click on “Login” in the right recognition panel. From the dropdown menu, click on “Register Now.” You can then enter your email address, match the image item shown in the Captcha, and click on “Continue” to start the registration process. During registration, you will create a username and password that must be unique. Please choose a login including alpha-numeric and numeric characters for security purposes. Once you are logged in, you can then enter the token you received above through the menu “MY SPRINGERLINK” ->”Account Details” ->”Process Token”. As a new member, we suggest that you add the publication to your “Favorites” for easy access. Please see the instructional presentation given in Springer's PDF file (click here to download).

I forgot my existing Username or Password

If you are not sure whether you have an existing account or I you have forgotten your user details, please go to http://www.SpringerLink.com. Click on “Login” in the right recognition panel, then click on “Forgot your password.” Type in your email address, match the image item shown in the Captcha, and you will receive a mail through ‘MetaPress Support’ indicating your username and a password reset code.  Important: Please leave the SpringerLink window opened until you have received the Password reset code, so that you can enter this code into this session window and update your password. This process should only take a second or two. After you have changed the password, you are logged in, you can then enter the token you received above through the menu “MY SPRINGERLINK” ->”Account Details” ->”Process Token”. You may see your publication listed under “Favorites” for quick and easy access. In the future, when you return to SpringerLink and log in, you will see a Favorites link at the bottom of the left recognition panel. Clicking on Favorites provides a direct link to your publication(s). You will not need to enter a token again for 2013 access. Your new token is valid until April 30 of next year.
